Dispatch Desk
Marketing website for a UK company that runs 24/7 taxi dispatch and customer support for private hire firms. It is built to turn operators into free trial sign-ups.
/ Overview
Dispatch Desk provides round-the-clock taxi dispatch and customer support to private hire firms in the UK. I designed and built its marketing website. The site explains the service, sets out the cost case against running a dispatch room in-house, shows the dispatch platforms the team works on, and walks an operator through a four-step onboarding process to a free trial.

Name: Dispatch Desk - Taxi Dispatch Outsourcing Website
Client: Dispatch Desk
Industries: Taxi and Private Hire, Business Outsourcing
Date: 2026
Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, JSON-LD
Project page: dispatchdesk.co.uk
/ Challenge
Outsourced dispatch is a hard sell. A taxi firm owner is being asked to hand the phones to a team they have never met. The website had to make the cost argument in a few seconds, prove the team knows the software operators already use, and lower the risk of trying the service.
/ Provided Services
UI design
Designed a green and gold interface on a warm, light background, so the company reads as an established British business rather than a call centre.
Frontend development
Built the home, services and contact pages as lightweight static pages with no framework.
Conversion structure
Ordered the homepage as an argument: the promise, the savings, the services, the platforms, the onboarding steps, then the free trial.
Content setup
Service content is loaded from a single JSON file, so services can be added or edited without touching the page markup.
/ Solution
The homepage reads top to bottom as one case for outsourcing. It opens with a plain promise, follows with what an in-house dispatch room costs, and then shows the six dispatch platforms the team is trained on, including Autocab, iCabbi and Cordic. A four-step onboarding section and client stories come next, and the free trial is offered at every natural pause. WhatsApp chat and a direct phone line are available throughout for owners who would rather talk.
/ Tech stack
HTML5 and CSS3
Static markup and a custom stylesheet, with styles inlined so the first screen renders without waiting on extra files.
JavaScript
Vanilla JavaScript for navigation, scroll reveals and rendering the services list.
JSON
A services.json file feeds the services sections on the home and services pages.
JSON-LD structured data
Organization and LocalBusiness schema for search visibility.
