Scotland 247 Taxis
Booking website for a Scottish private hire company offering airport transfers, day tours and vehicle hire. A three-step quote form sends each enquiry straight to WhatsApp.
/ Overview
Scotland 247 Taxis runs airport transfers, private day tours, wedding and executive hire, and long distance travel across Scotland. I designed and built its website of around twenty pages. It covers eight services, the five main Scottish airports, the fleet, popular routes and Highland day tours, and it is built around a quote form that turns a visitor's journey details into a ready-to-send WhatsApp message.

Name: Scotland 247 Taxis - Private Hire and Airport Transfer Website
Client: Scotland 247 Taxis
Industries: Private Hire, Travel, Tourism
Date: 2026
Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GSAP, JSON-LD
Project page: scotland247taxi.co.uk
/ Challenge
The company takes bookings in advance over WhatsApp rather than through online payment, so the website had to do the work of a booking clerk: collect a complete journey brief before the conversation starts. That brief changes with the job. An airport run, an hourly hire and a multi-stop day tour all need different details, and most visitors fill it in on a phone.
/ Provided Services
UI design
Designed a navy and gold interface around Scottish landscape photography, with the quote form in view from the first screen.
Frontend development
Built around twenty pages: eight services, airports, fleet, gallery, day tours, route pages and legal pages.
Quote form
Built a three-step form (journey details, vehicle, contact) that supports one way, return and hourly hire with optional extra stops, then opens WhatsApp with the enquiry already written.
Local SEO
Created dedicated pages for each service, airport and popular route, backed by LocalBusiness structured data.
/ Solution
The quote form sits in the hero and breaks the request into three short steps, so it never looks like a long form. When it is submitted, the details are assembled into a WhatsApp message the visitor only has to send. Around it, every service, airport and popular route has its own page, which gives people searching for something specific, such as Edinburgh Airport to Inverness, a page that answers exactly that. Scroll animations are handled by GSAP and kept light so the pages stay quick.
/ Tech stack
HTML5 and CSS3
Static pages with a custom stylesheet and a responsive layout that reflows the quote form for small screens.
JavaScript
Runs the multi-step form and builds the WhatsApp enquiry message.
GSAP and ScrollTrigger
Scroll-based reveal animations for sections, cards and imagery.
JSON-LD structured data
LocalBusiness schema with opening hours and location details for local search.
